The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated residents of the state as they usher in the year 2026. He recently had his say via a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, copies of which were made available to journalists in Warri.

Appreciating God for His protection, grace, and sustaining presence over the people and the state throughout 2025, he declared that the New Year will be a season of renewed hope, fresh beginnings and collective responsibility.

Oborevwori added that Nigerians must draw strength from the lessons of the past and look forward to the future with optimism and unity of purpose.
