Nigerian music legend 2Baba, also known as Tuface Idibia, has addressed growing concerns following an alarming post circulating online that suggested he was in distress and seeking help.
Earlier reports claimed the singer had shared a post on his Instagram page calling for help. However, in a video message shared on his official platforms, 2Baba clarified that he is perfectly fine and did not make the post attributed to him.
“This is getting out of hand. It’s a very dangerous situation,” Tuface said. “I understand what fans can do, but I am perfectly okay. This is putting Natasha at risk. It is not fair on anybody to feel this kind of thing.”
He called on the public to stop spreading panic and misinformation. “Please, I need everybody to calm down and cease fire. We’re gonna resolve all these issues. People dey get issues for house, no be today. Please friends, family, everybody cease fire. Please, I am perfectly fine. I didn’t post that post,” 2Baba added.
The singer emphasized that the matter is being handled privately and appealed to fans and the public not to escalate speculation.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the celebrity couple had a heated argument in a shop in London, which reportedly led to 2Baba being arrested by British police following the incident.
