Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has come out to say that his mother battled cancer for several years before her death.

This is coming after the footballer wrote, “Worse day of my life,” to announce the terrible news of his mum’s passing.

NFF also had this to say, “Our thoughts and prayers are with @NGSuperEagles midfielder @ogujohnugo following the passing of his Mom. May her gentle soul rest In peace.”
