Popular Nigerian rapper, Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, a.k.a Jeriq, has reacted to the claims of Igbo artists not supporting each other in the music industry. He recently had his say while speaking on the Vybz Cartel Podcast, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, such claims are nothing but fallacies because he has received the most support from Igbo people throughout his music career.

Jeriq added that his collaboration with Flavour and Phyno did not cost him a dime when it happened, and he is looking forward to more Igbo artists going global.

His words, “I collaborate with other artists and they send me contract and split-sheet. But Phyno and Flavour have never collected a dime from me. I have done three songs with Phyno and one hit with Flavour.

They collaborated with me free of charge. The way Asake is doing everything with Yoruba language, I believe that somebody will sell out a stadium either in U.S or Paris with Igbo language.”

WOW.
