Gov. Dauda Lawal’s APC Defection Is A Wise Move – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has formally welcomed Gov. Dauda Lawal into the APC. He recently assured the people of Zamfara and the North West Region of renewed measures to end insecurity and banditry in the region.

Represented by Vice President Kassim Shettima, Tinubu said that Lawal’s decision to join the ruling APC would improve coordination and support for security agencies to end banditry in Zamfara.

Commending the Governor for joining the APC, he described the move as a wise decision.

His words, “Let me emphasise the federal government’s commitment to restoring law and order in all parts of the region.”

The APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, then handed the APC flag to Gov Lawal and promised him the party’s support in all areas of need.
