Rapper AKA has responded to claims in the South African media that his split with his baby mama DJ Zinhle was as a result of him cheating on her with top SA media personalityBonang Matheba.

On Friday, August 28, Times Live, a South African online newspaper published a story alleging that Bonang and AKA had a secret affair that eventually broke the rapper’s relationship with DJ Zinhle.

On Friday Bonang Matheba also responded to the story ‘such a garbage so early in the morning’

On August 26, 2015 AKA and DJ Zinhle announced their split.

The pair who started dating circa 2013 released a joint statement confirming their split.

“After a great deal of thought, reflection and discussion we have decided to end our relationship of three years. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it” read the statement.

“We both wish nothing but a great future for each other and remain dear and trusted friends as well as co-parents to our wonderful baby Kairo, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We both deeply care for each other and remain close friends.“
