Report has it that there was a clash between supporters of Willie Obiano (APGA gubernatorial candidate) and supporters of Tony Nwoye (APC candidate) in Aguleri on Thursday.

An Eyewitness, who identified himself as Ezenduka Valentine Chiduruo, disclosed that the supporters of both parties hurled plastic chairs at each and fought with other danger0us weap0ns, PoliticsNGR reports.

The whole of Anambra state is currently tense as the keenly contested governorship elections will hold on November 18.

The situation was however calmed by police officers who swiftly arrived at the scene.
