President Muhammadu Buhari has come out to hail Bauchi youths for not partaking in the recent #EndSARS protests across Nigeria.

He recently revealed that the youths should be hailed for not participating in a protest that later led to violence and looting of public and private property.

According to him, the maturity shown by them amid the agitation is admirable because the gathering all across the country was mostly misdirected and misguided.

He added that he would keep reciprocating the good gesture of the Bayelsan government and the people of the state.

His words, “As your representatives in government, we are very proud of the comportment of the youth in particular, and the generality of the people in the state, in the face of current hardship.

“We are also aware that the hardship has been compounded by the economic downtown occasioned by the global crash in the prices of oil, and the ravaging effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

“Notwithstanding the hardship, you were wise enough not to adopt a solution which will inflict more hardship than the initial problem.”
