The family of late DMX has refuted rumors claiming Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z bought the late rapper’s master recordings for $10million.

This was recently revealed in a statement shared by Complex, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to DMX’s family, nobody has bought Earl’s masters, and the rumours should be ignored completely.

They added that if anyone is requesting for money for his funeral, people should please be aware the person is nothing but a scammer.

“There have been a few rumors following our loved one, Earl Simmons’, passing that we’d like to clear up. No one has bought Earl’s masters.”

“If anyone is requesting for money for his funeral please be aware the person is a scammer. We will keep the public posted on funeral/memorial service arrangements.”
