BNXN Opens Up About Struggles With Finding Real Love in Lagos

Nigerian music sensation Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has voiced his frustrations about the difficulty of forming genuine romantic connections in Lagos.

The Finesse crooner took to social media to share his thoughts, hinting that navigating the dating scene in the bustling city has not been easy. In a short post that quickly drew attention, he wrote: “To find love for Eko too hard for me o.”

BNXN has maintained a largely private love life since his highly public fallout with his alleged Swedish ex-girlfriend, Filma Jones, in 2022. At the time, Jones accused him of abandoning her after she claimed to be pregnant, even going as far as releasing intimate photos to assert their relationship.

He later admitted that the incident deeply affected him emotionally, calling it the first heartbreak that truly shook him.

Not long after, BNXN disclosed that another woman had attempted to blackmail him by claiming she was pregnant following what he described as a one-time encounter — further complicating his trust in relationships.

His recent comment suggests that those past experiences continue to influence how he views love and dating in Lagos today.
