The Minister of State for Agriculture, Alhaji Baba-Shehuri has come out to say that Buhari was happy with the conduct of the youths in Borno State amid the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria.

He recently revealed that the president was very pleased with their decorum and seemliness behavior amid the troubling moments in the country.

According to Baba-Shehuri, he is also very proud of Gov. Babagana Zulum’s commitment to good governance in Borno State by making sure COVID-19 palliatives and other relief items are regularly distributed to the people as at when due.

He added that Zulum should also be hailed for his fight against insurgency and fight for developmental initiatives.

His words, “The president appreciated the commitment of the governor and support to the fight against insurgency, humanitarian services, resettlement of the displaced persons and other developmental initiatives.”

Zulum added, “Let me appreciate the restrain shown by our youths for not participating in such meaningless protest which are counter productive in view of the relative peace being enjoyed in the state which is not unconnected to the efforts of all stakeholders in Borno.”
