Seyi’s music video for one of her recently released songs ‘Ragga Ragga’ was shot by Clarence Peters in December, but seven months earlier the pair had worked together on her high budget music video, ‘Irawo‘. It is believed that this is how they hooked up. If this is true, then it won’t be the first time Clarence has been romantically linked with a female Nigerian act. Back in 2007, he dated rapper Kelechi ‘Kel‘ Ohia who was signed to his Capital Hill record label at the time. They, however, separated following accusations of cheating, with Kel walking away from her recording contract.

In an interview with Toolz on Ndani TV’s ‘The Juice’ back in June 2013, Seyi Shay said ‘I think I’ll probably end up dating someone in the industry, whether he’s an executive or maybe an artiste. It’s gonna happen that way. I just feel it.

When Seyi was contacted , asking if she is in a relationship with Clarence Peters, she neither confirmed nor denied it ‘Whose authority? Lol,’ she replied.

However, an insider insists the couple wants to take things slow, especially for Clarence who is himself a product of a celebrity relationship that existed over two decades ago between Juju musician Sir Shina Peters and Nollywood star Clarion Chukwurah.
