Popular social commentator, Reno Omokri has come out to react to the recent demolition of a restaurant by the Kaduna state government over plans of some Nigerians to hold a sex party in it.

Reno recently revealed that Kaduna State should also demolish the home of the son of the state governor because we all saw when he threatened to gang-rape an Igbo man’s mother before passing her around to his friends.

According to him, that is even worse than a sex party, because rape is a very serious crime.

He added that demolishing the alleged sex party hotel simply shows total absence of the rule of law in Kaduna.

His words, “If sex parties should lead to demolishing, then Nasir @nelrufai’s son’s house should be the first to be demolished. We all saw when the young man threatened to gang rape an Igbo man’s mother, and even worse, to pass her around to his friends. That is even worse than a sex party. That is a rape party. Hypocrisy! Demolishing the alleged ‘sex party’ hotel just shows total absence of the rule of law in Kaduna. Not that I support sex party (God forbid), but even if it is true (it is not true), is sex party illegal in Nigeria? The same country where a serving Senator married a 13 year old and another slapped a woman while purchasing sex toys?”

Bemigho Reno Omokri (born 1974) is an author and lawyer. Omokri was the host of Transformation with Reno Omokri, a Christian teaching TV show broadcast (for one season) on San Francisco’s KTLN and Detroit’s Impact Network. He is the founder of a multimedia project, Build Up Nigeria, and has produced a series of short films in the U.S.

He is the pastor of the Mind of Christ Christian Center in California and Abuja. He is also known for using social media to project the Gospel. Omokri continues to write articles for major newspapers (mainly political OpEd and Christian material).

On August 17, 2017, the Department of State Security attempted to arrest him at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja but failed. Three days after the failed arrest attempt, the ruling party in Nigeria, the All Progressive Congress, named Omokri, along with former President Goodluck Jonathan and Governors Nyesom Wike and Willie Obiano as some of those showing “hatred, narrow-mindedness and meanness” to President Muhammadu Buhari.

He was one of three spokesmen to the former President, and is credited with pioneering the use of social media for political purposes in Nigeria.
