Despite The Many Predictions Against APC, History Keeps Vindicating Us – Kashim Shettima

Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima has come out to say that history has been made in the South-South sub-region following the mass defection of all Delta State PDP members to the APC.

He recently had his say while speaking at the party gathering, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, since the APC was formed, many predictions have been written against the party with some armchair critics saying the congress wouldn’t go anywhere, but history is vindicating APC today.

Shettima added that several politicians are now joining the progressives to move the nation forward, and it is long overdue.

His words, “This is a tsunami of the highest propulsion as all members of the Upper Chamber are in the APC; the governor and his entire cabinet, legislators, local government council chairmen and other stakeholders in the party.

Since the formation of the party, many predictions have been writing against us, some armchair critics said we couldn’t go anywhere but today history has vindicated us, many people are joining the progressives to move the nation forward.

So, you are welcome to our party, you are not guests but co-owners of the party. We welcome you not as defectors but as brothers and sisters, not as guests but as family.

By the APC constitution, the governor is the leader of the party, henceforth, you are to lead the party in the state to greater success.”
