Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri Announces Defection From PDP To APC

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He recently had his say via a statewide broadcast on Friday, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Noting that members of his cabinet and the PDP have moved with him to the ruling party, he revealed that his decision was driven by the need to fast-track development and act in the best interest of the people of Adamawa State.

He added that the defection will definitely yield the expected fruits in the coming months.
