Things fall apart. Upcoming pop act Hakym The Dream revealed to Nigezie that he is no longer on the Serengeti imprint.
Hakym signed to Serengeti in 2011 and while he was with them he released the hit single ‘Lamba’. He didn’t give any reason for leaving the label in the brief interview but mentioned that he is about to float his own label.
Serengeti has seen a lot of its acts jump ship since it entered the music industry a few years ago. Rapper Godwon left the label after releasing his debut Nigerian album, Evolution.
