An Hausa family that was heading to Calabar from Makurdi in a Toyota Camry were attacked by some hoodlums on motorcycles yesterday 4/02/2018.

However, the driver was able to drive smartly into the Police Training School, where a Police Response Team immediately met him.

Inquiry revealed that the Hausa family was heading to Calabar from Makurdi, but had a punctured tyre at Wannune, where the hoodlums attacked them. None of the occupants sustain any injury.

Escort was provided to the family by the Police Team, who postponed the journey to enable them repair the damaged vehicle.
