I Love Music, But I Have No Sponsor – BBNaija’s Ella

EllaBBNaija housemate, Ella has come out to say that she is quitting music due to lack of money

The reality TV star revealed this on Instagram with a 2 minutes video.

According to Ella, because of financial limitations and a sick mother she has to take care of, she has no choice but to put her music career on hold.

She also thanked everyone that came through for her when she needed help to save her mother’s life.

Her words, “Hello everyone, I hope you are doing okay, so I have been thinking a lot lately so I thought to share what’s on my mind. Big Brother Naija came and passed ad as you all know I have been working on my music and plenty of other things. It’s not been easy as all that I have been doing requires a lot of resources. Most of us left our jobs and businesses and its been hard trying to get it back but we have been surviving. Recently i had to put all my resources to save my mum’s life.”

“Thanks to everyone who helped, who came through for me I will be forever grateful. But tonight I have concluded that I need to let go of the dream I have I had since I was nine. Doing music as an independent artist in Nigeria requires a lot of money and I have done it on my so far with no sponsorship and right now I have my mum to cater to among other things. I wish for any kind of help, I love to sing, I love to do music but I have to let it go. Thank you guys.”

So sad.

Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 to 21 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $171,428.57 equivalent to 60,000,000 Nigerian Naira, and other material gifts, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers. The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes. A second time of the series premiered on January 22, 2017, a third season premiered on January 28, 2018 and a fourth season debuted on June 30, 2019 in Abuja, Nigeria.

The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. In a twist to the game, two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining housemates.

Ebuka, the most popular housemate for several weeks into the show and widely believed to emerge the winner was the seventh housemate to be evicted; many viewers blame the Joe’s Fan Club (JFC) for his eviction. Joe himself was soon evicted from the show.

Big Brother added another twist to the game on day 79 by cancelling the day’s scheduled nominations and making the housemates believe they will instead be evicted based on their performances on assigned tasks while in reality no more evictions were held and viewers began voting for the winner who turned out to be 26-year-old Katung Aduwak.
