I Might Be Arrested Soon – Nasir El-Rufai

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that he could be arrested by the Federal Government anytime now. He recently had his say during an interview with BBC Hausa, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, recent developments indicate he may be the next target for the ruling government amid the growing political intimidation against opposition figures.

El-Rufai added that some of his very close associates had already been apprehended and detained.

His words, “Four people we worked with in Kaduna have been arrested; so it’s only a matter of time before they come for me too.”
