I Thank God For My Amazing Life Journey – Nadia Buari

The movie star jumped on social media to share a post that reflects on how life has been for her so far.

According to her, she has been blessed with friends and family that genuinely want to see her do well.

She added that she has God to thank for her amazing life journey.

Her words, “Life’s mill with its thrills and grills has its way of taking us through twists and turns.
Yet this journey won’t be fulfilling without the unconditional love that friends and family and of course buttercakes, exude.
Today represents a special milestone in my life’s journey.

Though this past year hasn’t been my most favorite of years, it is also the year that has inspired the most appreciation in me. Appreciation for life from God and love from family. Love I give is possible because of love I get from you all.”

In thanking God for adding another year to this amazing life journey , I wish to dedicate this special day towards thanking you for endearing and enduring my journey and showering unto me the love that continues to light my path.

I humbly embrace and appreciate the light that your love has lit in my heart, that causes me to shine and smile even in the face of life’s adversities.

Nadia Buari (born November 21, 1982) is a Ghanaian born-American actress. She received two nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.

Buari was born in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana, to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother. She studied performing arts at the University of Ghana, graduating with a BFA degree. Throughout her time at the University of Ghana, she was actively involved in drama and dance clubs.

Buari premiered on Ghanaian national television with the TV series Games People Play in late 2005. Her first major film was Mummy’s Daughter, after which, she starred in Beyonce: The President’s Daughter. Her role as “Beyonce” was her major breakthrough. Her movie career began with her playing a role in the TV series Games People Play in 2005, which she got nominated for best actress. She has starred in more than 20 movies. In 2013, she came out with her own movie called The Diary of Imogen Brown.

Buari moved from Ghanaian films to Nollywood films around the year 2008. Her breakthrough role in Nollywood was in the film Beyonce & Rihanna as Beyonce alongside Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde who played Rihanna. The film became very popular to both Ghanaian and Nigerian audience. Her other notable Nollywood films include Rough Rider, Beauty and the Beast, Holding Hope and Single and Married.
