I Want To Make Farming Easier For Nigerian Youths – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to transforming Nigeria into a global agricultural force through increased mechanisation and youth engagement in farming.

He recently said that the Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanisation Programme would modernize farming and improve its appeal to young Nigerians.

According to him, over two thousand advanced tractors, fifty bulldozers, twelve mobile workshops, and 9,000 farming tools are currently available to make farming a seamless experience for young Nigerians scattered all over the country.

He added that the initiative involves collaborations with nations like Belarus to provide Nigerian youth with training in advanced agricultural practices, machinery maintenance, and equipment production.

His words, “We have over 2,000 advanced tractors, 50 bulldozers, 12 mobile workshops, and more than 9,000 farming tools ready. This will make farming easier, create jobs, and make it ‘sexier’ for our youths.”
