“Inspect Your Shortlets Properly Before Paying This December” – TolaniBaj To IJGBs

Former BBNaija housemate TolaniBaj has a message for IJGBs gearing up for Detty December in Nigeria. She recently broke down how returnees can survive Lagos during the December rush, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, IJGBs should ensure they inspect their shortlets before paying for them to avoid falling prey to the all-too-common “what I ordered vs what I got” shortlet experience.

TolaniBaj concluded by adding that no returnee should set foot into Lagos State without sufficient money.

Her words, “Inspect your shortlets before you pay for it. If you are not in the country, make sure you have someone check it for you before you pay for it.

Do not come to Lagos without money. Have ‘vex money’ so you can take yourself out of certain uncomfortable situations.

If you are coming to Lagos, keep in mind that location is very important. If you have a function, ensure you leave your location two hours before the time because you should prepare to sleep in traffic.”

The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. In a twist to the game, two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining housemates.

Ebuka, the most popular housemate for several weeks into the show and widely believed to emerge the winner was the seventh housemate to be evicted; many viewers blame the Joe’s Fan Club (JFC) for his eviction. Joe himself was soon evicted from the show.

Big Brother added another twist to the game on day 79 by cancelling the day’s scheduled nominations and making the housemates believe they will instead be evicted based on their performances on assigned tasks while in reality no more evictions were held and viewers began voting for the winner who turned out to be 26-year-old Katung Aduwak.
