Jay Z, Meek Mill Seek Change In Probation And Parole Laws

jay z meek millAmerican rappers, JayZ and Meek Mill, alongside Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and others have launched Reform Alliance — a new criminal justice-reform initiative that will look for changes as regards probation and parole laws.

The group also promised $50 million fund.

Jay Z who was is a Brooklyn New York born and bred, has for the most of his career been at the forefront of causes which he believes mainly affects young black boys.

He is an epitome of inspiration for Meek Mill who recently served five months in prison in Philly for probation violations on a decade-old drug and gun conviction from an trial.

On the initiative, Meek said, “There are [millions] who never had a voice, and lost everything they had, because of the things that we are facing now and things we are trying to address.”
