Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have all but confirmed their relationship after unveiling a series of photos and videos from their time together in Japan.

One shot shows the pair leaning in close for a warm selfie, while another video captures them sharing a relaxed sushi outing. Though neither has directly spoken about their relationship, rumours have circulated for months, fuelled by several public sightings — including Trudeau showing up at one of Perry’s concerts earlier this year.

Perry, who is currently on her worldwide Lifetimes Tour, posted the images with the caption, “Tokyo times on tour and more.”

Just days earlier, Trudeau, 53, uploaded a picture of himself and Perry alongside former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko. In the post, he expressed appreciation for the meeting, thanking Kishida for his “friendship” and dedication to “a better future for everyone.”

Speculation reached a new peak last month when the two were photographed holding hands in Paris. TMZ released footage showing them strolling together before Trudeau assisted Perry into a car — an outing that coincided with her 41st birthday and appeared to signal their first unmistakable public display as a couple.
