Kiekie Shares Startling Experience With Overzealous Fan

Content creator and Nollywood actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has opened up about a startling and unexpected encounter she had with a fan during a recent outing.

In an interview with VJ Adams on the Off The Top show, the media personality said the incident left her stunned yet amused.
“It was recently. I went to a speaking event and was leaving the auditorium like any normal person when a lady said, ‘Hi Kiekie, let’s take pictures.’ We took pictures. Next thing, she pecked me on my breast,” she recounted.

Kiekie, known for her humour and vibrant style, also shared insights into her fondness for jewellery and why she rarely takes them off — even when she goes to bed.
“Why do some people wear jewellery to sleep? I can dream and find myself at a party in my dream, and I don’t want to be caught unprepared,” she joked.
“It would pain me to dream and meet Otedola at an occasion and not be fully dressed.”

She revealed that her love for accessories began during her teenage years, inspired by her mother’s fashion habits.
“My mum bought me my first piece of jewellery when I was 15 or 16, and all my life I had watched her put on wristwatches, bangles, and multiple rings. I thought it was cool. So when I started making a little money for myself, I started buying them too,” she said.

Reflecting on her experience hosting Kiekie Unscripted, the actress offered a piece of advice based on lessons learned:
“Don’t overestimate people, regardless of what they tell you or how amazing they claim to be.”

The entertainer continues to build her brand through her unique mix of humour, fashion, and honesty.
