The Lagos State Government has released a comprehensive traffic management plan ahead of the second phase of rehabilitation on the Epe-bound carriageway of the Lekki–Epe Expressway. The government recently revealed that the traffic management plan is expected to last 30 days.

According to the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Epe-bound carriageway from Admiralty Way Junction to Jubilee Bridge, Ajah, will be fully closed to enable uninterrupted construction.

He added that the ministry observed the installation of unauthorized gates during the first phase of construction, particularly in the Lekki axis, stressing that many were erected without government approval.
