Meet Zimbabwe’s Next President As Mugabe Finally Resigns

Zimbabwean vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was sacked by Ex President Robert Mugabe, would reportedly be sworn as President on Wednesday or Thursday.

Patrick Chinamasa who is the legal secretary of ZANU-PF, told Reuters, after the resignation of Robert Mugabe, that Mnangagwa will be sworn in as president.

Mr. Mnangagwa is widely believed to be popular amongst the powerful War Veterans group and the Zimbabwean military chiefs.
