Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sat on the ground when their beloved dog needed surgery, their former vet has said. The vet, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, recently recounted his experience treating one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s dogs during an interview with The Times.
According to him, he suddenly got a call from Meghan about how her pet needed an operation to treat his busted wrists, and both the duke and duchess sat on the floor throughout the surgery.
Noel added that the dog eventually died early this year, but Meghan was still grateful for the successful operation.
Her words, “Meghan rang me from Canada, where she was living at the time, to say Guy, her beagle, had escaped and had been found with two busted ‘wrists’ [the carpus]. Would I operate? I agreed, and she brought him over.
The duke and duchess sat on the floor. We had cake. Guy was fixed. He lived until January this year, and I had a wonderful note of gratitude from Meghan, which was sweet.”
WOW.
