Nollywood veteran, Jude Chukwuka has come out to react to being gifted 1 million naira by Naira Marley.

He recently revealed that Naira Marley has become his favorite artiste in recent times, so he enjoys singing his songs.

According to him, he has no idea why the video of Mafo that he posted went viral because he only loves to help his contemporaries hear and understand what the young boys are doing.

He added that he is grateful for the gesture from the singer to recognize him as a fan.

His words, “I enjoy singing and in recent times, Naira Marley has become my favourite artiste. It’s like I help my contemporaries to hear and understand what these young boys are doing. I don’t know why the video of Mafo that I posted went viral.”

“I really cannot explain how I felt when I was told that Naira Marley was looking for me online. I got over 500 calls. When I eventually answered a colleague’s call, he told me to go on Instagram that Naira Marley was looking for me. I then went online and saw so many messages. I didn’t even know how to feel at first. But to keep my sanity, I switched off my phone, so no one could reach me till I got home.”

Naira Marley was born in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria. At the age of 11, he moved to Peckham, South London, England. During the “Marlian Fest” which was held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos on 30 December 2019, Naira Marley announced his new record label “Marlian Records” with the signing of four artists, Cblvck, Zinoleesky, MohBad and Fabian Blu.
