Popular radio presenter, Melody Hassan has blasted Naira Marley over his new jam titled “Puta.”

According to the CityFM OAP, the song encourages sexual violence.

She said that “Puta” is actually a derogatory word which mean “whore” “bitch” and those that dance to the song are actually saying sexual violence is fine.

Good morning to all the marlians, send my love to your leader.
Y’all are doing great.”

“Do we realise we live in a country that has a dangerous attitude towards sexual harassment & women’s safety is not d most important thing?

Her persona is indicative of trappings of iconic female broadcasters in this country.

From first glance, Melody Hassan could pass as naïve and quiet but that’s far from her explosive, energetic and entertaining presentation style on her show ‘City Café’ on City 105.1 FM.
