Naira Marley’s “Puta” Encourages Sexual Violence – Melody Hassan

Popular radio presenter, Melody Hassan has blasted Naira Marley over his new jam titled “Puta.”

According to the CityFM OAP, the song encourages sexual violence.

She said that “Puta” is actually a derogatory word which mean “whore” “bitch” and those that dance to the song are actually saying sexual violence is fine.

On Twitter, she wrote, “PUTA is a derogatory word, it means ”whore” , “bitch”.
Good morning to all the marlians, send my love to your leader.
Y’all are doing great.”

“Do we realise we live in a country that has a dangerous attitude towards sexual harassment & women’s safety is not d most important thing?

No view, dance, lyrics that ‘might’ enable sexual violence should b applauded or normalised.
