Niger Delta Can Only Hope For Buhari To Sack Akpabio Soon – Frank Pukon

The Secretary-General Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Mr Frank Pukon has come out to say that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration is dividing Niger-Delta.

Mr Frank Pukon recently revealed this via a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Buhari’s government is bequeathing a strange legacy to the oil-rich region, and that will not be tolerated.

He added that it is under Buhari that Niger Delta parastatals started having strange names, and he can only hope that Senator Godswill Akpabio will be sacked by the president soon.

His words, “The Niger Delta today has not been divided in any other time, then this time when you are the commander-in-chief with regard to the region’s socio-economic development and political advancement.”

“History will have it that it is during your presidency that Niger Delta parastatals started having strange names. Sole Administrator in the NDDC and Interim Administrator for the Presidential Amnesty Programme. We, in the Niger Delta, can only hope and pray to God when you finally sack the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio that you will not come up with a strange name for the ministry.”

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015. Muhammadu Buhari was born to a Fulani family on 17 December 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Hardo Adamu, a Fulani chief, and mother Zulaihat. He is the twenty-third child of his father. Buhari was raised by his mother, after his father died when he was about four years old.
