Nigerian Army Must Collaborate With The Police To Remove Bandits From Nigeria – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Army to partner with the Police in removing bandits from forests around Nigeria.

Malam Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity revealed this in a recent statement in Abuja.

According to him, Buhari gave the directive recently in response to the killing of 22 people in Sokoto State.

He added that Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai has already been in touch with the General Officers Commanding the army formations in the affected states.

His words, ”In a quick response, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai has already got in touch with the General Officers Commanding the army formations in the affected states.”

PMB also assured Governors Aminu Tambuwal and Simon Lalong of Sokoto and Plateau respectively that FG is ready to support and end the several attacks in their regions.

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015.
