Nigerian Leaders Must Unite To End The Senseless Killings In Benue State – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the security chief to arrest perpetrators of last Friday’s massacre in Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

He recently gave the directive to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, during a town hall meeting with political leaders in Benue State.

According to him, it is obvious that Hyacinth Alia’s political enemies do not want him to succeed in Benue State, and he’ll be disappointed if the Governor is only just realizing that.

He then called on leaders across the region to unite and put a stop to the senseless killings of innocent Nigerians.

His words, “Your political enemies don’t want you to succeed…Are you just realising that?

We cannot do without another. I will want us to create a leadership committee now to meet in Abuja to fashion out a strategy for lasting peace. And I am ready to invest in that peace.”
