Nigerians Should Help Me Save My Marriage, My Wife Is My Backbone – 9ice

Popular singer, 9ice has come out to beg Nigerians to help him plead with his wife, Olasunkanmi, and save his marriage.

He recently revealed this after a video of him with another lady in a hotel leaked online.

According to him, he wants his 3rd marriage to work even if he admits that he did something very shameful and terrible.

He added that his wife, Olasukanmi Akande is his backbone and he absolutely needs her in his life.

His words, “I have done something so shameful, something terrible and it is costing me my family and the most important thing to me right now is my family.

“The 9ice that you always see and appreaciate is beacuse I have a backbone, Olasukanmi Akande and because of this terrible thing that I have done, it is costing me a whole lot.

“I apologise for what I have done and I need you guys to help me beg my wife. She is my backbone.

“I have excelled in so many other things but one thing I have being failing is my marriage but this marriage, I want it to work. Please, help me beg my wife. Save this marriage for me.”

9ice, born Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande (born 17 January 1980) is a Nigerian musician.

Born into a polygamous home of five wives and nine children, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State in Western Nigeria. He grew up in Bariga suburbs of Lagos. 9ice had also dreamed of being a musician, which led him to drop out of the Lagos State University whilst studying Law. 9ice began singing at the age of 14. His parents discovered his singing talent, a decided to allow him become a musician.

In 1996, 9ice recorded his first demo titled Risi de Alagbaja, but it was not until 2000 that he released his first official solo song Little Money.

In 2008, he released the single Gongo Aso. With the song gaining popularity, 9ice was asked to perform at the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Tribute concert in London, United Kingdom in June 2008.[7] He went on to win the Best Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards.
