Nigeria’s Power Sector Has Gradually Recovered – Adelabu

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said that electricity supply has improved across Nigeria. He recently had his say via a press statement issued by his Special Adviser on Strategic Communications and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Noting that the development can be attributed to increased gas supply to power plants, he stressed that the improvement is in line with his earlier promise of measurable progress within two weeks.

Adelabu added that the fulfilment of his promise reflects ongoing reforms and coordinated efforts within the power sector.

His words, “Despite minor fluctuations recorded on some days, the overall trajectory points to a gradual recovery in the power sector, driven largely by improved gas supply and better coordination among critical stakeholders.

We are not there yet, but we will continue to ensure measurable improvements.”
