Okey Emordi has resigned as coach of Enugu Rangers.
Immediately after the week 38 game against El-Kanemi at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. Emordi submitted his resignation letter
Emordi; The management of the club failed to meet up with their contractual obligations since I took up the job some two years ago.
He also said that the management did not give him the enabling environment to suceed especially this season.
�The club failed to pay me what is due to me. I have decided not to talk because they will say I want to spoil things.
�That is why I took my time to wait till this time. I cannot continue to work and suffer in silence. I wish the club well, but I have resigned so that I can have rest of mind”.
Emordi led Rangers to a second place on the log last season, but ended fifth this season. He also sighted the issue of handling of players transfer has a major problem. The management on the other hand are set to sack the remaining technical crew of the team.
