Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has come out to say that it is hypocritical for people to tag others evil while calling themselves good.

The movie star who recently bagged a law degree revealed this on Instagram, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, it is best for human beings to reduce the amount of judgment that comes out of our mouths, because it never ends well.

He added that we should never be tempted to utter judgment about others as judgment is for God alone.

His words, “Good morning friends. It’s a sign of hypocrisy to tag others as evil while we paint saintly pictures of ourselves. The only path to peace is to reduce the amount of judgement in our lives and gradually seal our lips when tempted to utter judgment about others.”

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
