Security Agencies Must Ensure Fairness During Kogi Governorship Election – APC

The All Progressives Congress governorship campaign council in Kogi State has come out to urge security agencies to be fair and professional in their duties ahead of the November 11 election.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the recent raids on residences belonging to party chieftains in Kogi East are a cause of concern, and he can only hope the leaders are not specifically targeted.

He added that the forthcoming poll must be as peaceful as possible so that the electorates can vote correctly.

His words, “We welcome every effort at ensuring a peaceful poll on November 11, 2023. The election is for the electorate to determine who leads the state from January 27, 2024, and therefore shouldn’t be a reason for insecurity in the state.”

“We hereby call on security agencies to act professionally, fairly, and with the patriotic intent to maintain law and order before, during and after the election.”
