Security Will Always Be A Collective Responsibility – Gov. Agbu Kefas

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has come out to say that no single security agency can effectively tackle the serious security challenges confronting Nigeria.

He recently emphasised that inter-agency partnership and synergy are needed to address insecurity in the country, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, it is important for Nigerians to recognize that security is a collective responsibility; hence why our response to the long-standing crisis must be a joint effort.

He added that the era of individual security operations is long gone, stressing the need for strengthened collaboration among agencies.

His words, “As we reflect on the significance of this training, it is essential to recognise that security is a collective responsibility.

The safety of our communities depends on the readiness and professionalism of our security personnel.

In today’s world, the threats we face are increasingly sophisticated, and our response must be equally adept.

No single agency can tackle these challenges alone.

It is imperative that we work together, share information and coordinate our efforts to achieve a common goal.”
