Tacha Reveals Passion for Politics, Says She Wants to Promote Good Governance in Nigeria

Reality TV star and media personality Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has opened up about her growing interest in politics, expressing a strong desire to promote effective governance and contribute to the betterment of Nigerians.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Pidgin, Tacha explained that politics has a direct impact on people’s daily lives, stressing that real change can only happen when well-intentioned individuals actively participate in governance.

“People always say after God, it’s politics. Truly, one government policy can make or break you,” she said. “If you keep complaining about the system, it only makes sense to get involved and make decisions that will make life easier for people.”

The former Big Brother Naija housemate noted that her passion for politics stems from a genuine concern for the nation’s progress rather than personal ambition. She said she intends to use her influence to advocate for accountability, transparency, and responsible leadership across all levels of government.

According to her, she hopes to use her voice and platform to push for positive change and ensure that public office holders are held accountable to the people they serve.

“Politics is something I’m passionate about. I will continue using my platform to push for good governance and speak up when leaders fail to do what’s right,” she added.
