Tension Escalates As Regina Daniels’ Mother Accuses Ned Nwoko Of Betrayal

A heated family dispute has erupted as Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, publicly lashed out at her estranged son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of betrayal and ingratitude.

In a viral video making rounds online, Rita claimed that despite her family’s unwavering support for Nwoko, he had repaid them with humiliation and disregard. She alleged that Regina played a vital role in his political journey, offering both moral and financial support during his senatorial campaign.

“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down,” she said in anger.

Rita further alleged that Regina contributed heavily to Nwoko’s political ambitions. “Regina gave you $50k to support your election. We are covering up your shame and making you feel like an Odogwu. You’re mad,” she added.

Her remarks followed Regina’s recent emotional outburst on social media, where the actress accused the senator of allegedly ordering the arrest of her siblings as a means to pressure her into returning to him and undergoing rehabilitation.

Expressing her frustration, Regina questioned why their separation had turned into hostility, revealing that she had remained silent despite being branded a drug addict. However, she said she could no longer endure the ongoing pain and humiliation.

According to the actress, her decision to speak out came from a place of exhaustion, stating that she was “tired of staying quiet while her family continues to suffer.”
