The Destruction In Adamawa By Insurgents Is Appalling – Buhari

President Muhammad Buhari has come out to mourn with the Kwapre community in the Hong Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa over the recent Boko Haram insurgents attack.

Buhari, represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustafa, recently revealed this when he visited the community.

According to him, he can only express his deepest sympathy and condolence to the affected community during these trying times.

Buhari added that he has seen the level of destructions which is tragic of monumental dimension, and he fully regrets it.

His words, ”I am in Kwapre to see things under the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari and to sympathise and condole with the community.”

”I have seen the level of destructions which is tragic of monumental dimension.”

“I am deeply saddened by what I saw and am assuring the community, the government will do all that is possible to protect lives and property of the citizens.”

“Government is going to take steps that will be quite effective to curtail the menace as much as possible.”

”Government is going to help the community to reconstruct places destroyed.”

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015. He is a retired major general in the Nigerian Army and previously served as the nation’s head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état. In February 2019, Buhari was re-elected President, defeating his closest rival Atiku Abubakar by over 3 million votes.

Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for anything over which he presided during his military rule, and that he cannot change the past. He has described himself as a “converted democrat”.

Muhammadu Buhari was born to a Fulani family on 17 December 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Hardo Adamu, a Fulani chief, and mother Zulaihat. He is the twenty-third child of his father. Buhari was raised by his mother, after his father died when he was about four years old.
