Since we are all in the Christmas mood already I have decided to do something different. I have been reading the writings of Paul of Tarsus an ancient revolutionist and I have been wondering what he would have to say to our couples this season. Please forgive my style of expression if you are not used to his writings.

I know many of you are eager to get the 12th common mistake married women make and that final mistake is related to the season and that is too many religious activities at the expense of your home. I won�t be able to write so much about it but placing your pastor or Imam or religious activities before your man is the shortest recipe for marital disaster.

Let�s go now to the Epistles to the couples

I Praise, an apostle of sexuality education and marital solutions, not of men neither by man but by God almighty the creator of the marital institution and sexuality.� Grace be to you and peace from God in this yuletide season to whom be all the glory forever and ever. Amen.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from your marital vows and are quick turning to the western world re-invention of marriage. I wonder why you have forgotten so soon your profession in the congregation of saints on your wedding day where you vowed to forsake others and cleave only to your spouse. Is it not a shame that thou art departest from that and now going around to drink water not from your private garden but from a public domain.�� For ye know of your lifestyle in time past in the singles territory, how that beyond measure you engaged in pre-marital sex and all forms of sexual perversion and you were exceedingly zealous to get along with the next babe or guy in town yet your heavenly father protected you from contracting the dreaded disease HIV/AIDS and even forgave you your sins.

When it pleased Him who separated you from thine mother�s womb and called you by his grace to reveal his wisdom in you that you might become a testimony of who a real man/woman should be. He blessed you with a good job, financial breakthrough which was neither by you r power nor might and even blessed you with a wonderful spouse and good children not counting your past life against you.

Why then hast thou made up thine mind to frustrate the grace of God upon your life by going back to those things that you should have outgrown? Now that you are married and blessed with a wonderful family, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Ye leave your place of work to pick younger girls from tertiary institutions and offer money for sex thereby destroying their future. You therefore corrupt your wisdom for philanthropy with sexual promiscuity.� Some of ye even steal out of bed to have a carnal knowledge of your house-helps and sister in-laws and beg them not to tell anyone thereby reducing yourself to the level an animal that have sex by instinct. I am afraid of you lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am that ye turn from your wicked ways.� I even hear that some of you mothers now want to get back at your erring spouse by also going outside your marital covenant to make out with some other men. Do you fight sin with sin?

How do we explain the shame of incest going on in thine homes that you have no knowledge of? Don�t you know that a little leaven leveleth the whole lump? Are you not aware that with the spate of divorce and single motherhood going on in thine nation , ye are gradually tending towards a fatherless and bitter society?

I speak by the spirit of God that ye return to thine first love of faithfulness. Let every man be satisfied with their women and forgive one another in love. Let every hurting woman receive the comfort of the Spirit and rediscover joy not by getting back at your erring spouse but by finding love in his embrace all over again.

Let love be without record of wrongs and remember love believes all things, hopeth all things and endureth all things.

Finally I beseech you by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable which is thine reasonable service.

Do not be comformed any longer to the western style of marriage but be ye transformed by the renewal of thine mind that ye may prove that which is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I hope to be with thee by Christmas but before then I am sending Reconciliation my bond servant to strengthen thine marriages lest you fall short and end in divorce.
