The Media Will Not Be Silenced In Nigeria – Seun Okinbaloye

Channels Television presenter, Seun Okinbaloye has come out to react to the N5 million fine recently slammed on the television station by the National Broadcasting Commission.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the fines will not change anything about how he goes about his job because the media will not be silenced as Nigeria belongs to everyone.

Recall that the NBC fined the Channels TV following a petition by the campaign spokesperson for the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, after Okinbaloye’s interview with the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed, on March 22 where the vice presidential candidate on TV kicked against the swearing-in of Tinubu as President come May 29.
