Tinubu Visits Abu Dhabi For 2026 Sustainability Summit

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to attend the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. Recall that BAT is visiting the UAE at the official invitation of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The President’s aircraft touched down at Zayed International Airport at approximately 11:30 pm local time, and he was received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The annual summit serves as a global forum for world leaders, industry experts, and civil society organisations to tackle vital issues concerning energy innovation and the financial infrastructure required for renewable energy transitions.

A press statement read, “The visit underscores the strengthening alliance between Nigeria and the UAE, particularly in green energy and economic cooperation.”
