Popular Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani Shades Nigerians

Victoria KimaniPopular Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani recently participated in the #KenyaVsNigeria Twitter war.

During the battle, she decided to chip in her own diss in by shading citizens of the giant of Africa by saying they tweet without having electricity to charge their mobile phones.

Her words, “I just wonder …. after tweeting all the hatred some people tweet … and realizing that they don’t have ample electricity to charge their phone after tweeting the tweets ….. how do they honestly feel about their life ?”

This definitely did not sit well with very active Nigerian twitter warriors. They were having none of it and took turns to hit back with various jibes of their own.

Outside the snippets above, the Twitter shades went on and on for awhile. NaijaVibe went further and made some interesting findings.

Apparently, in a previous tweet on the Exclusion of Kenyans and East Africans in Beyonce’s Lion King the Gift Album, Kimani @victoriakimani had said, “As much as we celebrate with our fellow Africans, the obvious exclusion of Kenyans/East Africans on this Soundtrack is depressing.
“The movie was based on Kenya. That’s fine…. Our Queen forgot about US. East Africa was not represented in her love letter to the her fans. ‘It hurts. that’s all.’ Kimani further stated Rafiki, Simba and Nala are Kenyan and Disney would have had Lupita Nyongo on the outro. Personally, i guess she was still hurting because it looks like her shades were probably influenced by the pain of missing out on the Gift.
