The Chief of Training and Operations, Nigerian Army, Maj.-Gen. Enobong Udoh, has urged troops of Operation Lafiya Dole (OPLD) to be battle-ready as they aim to defeat Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists once and for all.

Enobong Udoh revealed this as he addressed troops of 159 Battalion at Geidam in Yobe today.

According to him, the troops deserve commendation for the decisive blow they dealt with the terrorists recently when they tried to attack Geidam town which led to several deaths of the bad guys.

He added that with the recent experiences, all he sees is a victory for the Nigerian army against terrorism in the nearest future.

His words, “With what is going on now, the end is in sight, victory is smelling on our side.”

“Our current preparation and training is a message to the terrorists that their days are number.”

“Boko Haram is seeing its final days of atrocities by the grace of God.”
