Yetunde Barnabas, Peter Olayinka Welcome New Addition to Their Family

Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas and her footballer husband, Peter Olayinka, have expanded their family with the arrival of their second child. The couple, who married in March 2021, shared the happy news with fans on Thursday.

Yetunde announced the birth on Instagram, sharing tender snapshots from the hospital that captured special moments with her husband and newborn. She wrote, “Our second little miracle has arrived. Another piece of heaven in our arms. Thank You LORD 12/11/25.”

Though the baby’s name remains private, sources indicate the child was born in Toronto, Canada. This follows the couple’s first child, a daughter born in 2022. The announcement quickly drew congratulations from friends, fans, and industry colleagues.

Earlier this year, Yetunde had put to rest rumours suggesting they had secretly welcomed a second child. She urged the public to verify information before spreading it.

The actress and footballer reportedly met in 2019 and began dating soon after, culminating in their wedding two years later.

Yetunde Barnabas rose to prominence through her role as Miss Pepeiye in the iconic sitcom Papa Ajasco. She has also made a name for herself in Nollywood films and previously won the Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja pageant in 2019.

Peter Olayinka plays professional football in Europe and was part of Nigeria’s Super Eagles squad at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
