Ruti Olajugbagbe, a Nigerian-born British student and a part-time carer from Southend-on-Sea emerged winner of popular music reality show, The Voice UK over the weekend after her incredible rendition of the song– Dreams by The Cranberries earned her a spot on the live show.

This makes it the 2nd Nigerian to win the Voice UK. Last year it was won by MO Adeniran who is also a Nigerian-born British.
